Our annual China conference takes place on Thursday and Friday 18-19 April, just before the press day for this year's show, which is on Saturday 20th. Themed ‘Technology and tradition – old meets new in modern-day China', the conference will explore topics including how to design an experience, fashion and luxury in today's China, HMI design and the ‘multi-mode' interior, which flexes with the user's needs.
THE PUBLIC have been urged to have their say on the design of the most expensive road project in Scotland's history. The £3 billion upgrade of the A9, which runs from central Scotland to the north coast, to full dual carriageway will cost more than the M74 completion, the new Forth road bridge and the Aberdeen bypass combined. The first public displays setting out the logistical and environmental impact of the first £40 million section of the upgrade, from Kincraig to Dalraddy in the Highlands, will be unveiled this month.

The ‘new’ Nissan Juke – revealed at Geneva in March – may not really be ‘new’, but it has been thoroughly updated for 2014 with new tach, new engines and more personalisation options than before. Trim levels are similar to the previous model Juke - Visia, Acenta, Acenta Premium and Tekna – with just the old N-Tec trim getting rebranded as Acenta Premium. The entry-level for the Juke is the 1.6 94PS in Visia trim which offers 16″ alloys, AirCon, CD with AUX-In and MP3 inputs, electric windows, daytime running lights and tyre pressure monitoring.
